Clinic reminder: Please do not drop off or send in any medication to the Clinic without the proper form. We will not be able to administer any medication without signed documentation from Parents and/or Doctors. These forms can be found on our website under “Parents” and then “Clinic Information” or they can be picked up in the Clinic.
*Any over-the-counter (OTC) medications that will be taken short-term or kept in the Clinic for “as needed” use need to be accompanied by a Medication Administration Request form and signed by a parent. This form is also used for short-term prescriptions that need to be administered during school hours, and must be signed by your child’s Doctor.
*Inhalers, either daily or for emergency use, need to be accompanied by an Asthma Action Plan completed and signed by your child’s Doctor and signed by a parent.
*If your child has a life-threatening allergy, any medication required to treat symptoms needs to be accompanied by a Life-Threatening Allergy Management Plan, completed and signed by the Doctor and signed by a parent.
*Controlled medications must be dropped off by a parent to the Clinic and then counted and signed in by both parties. The Medication Administration Request form must be completed and signed by the Doctor and signed by a parent.
All forms need to be current for this school year. We are not permitted to use forms from last year.

“Calling all poets! The Eagle’s Nest is sponsoring a Middle School Fall Poetry Competition. First prize includes publication in an upcoming edition, as well as a prize pack that features a dress down pass, and an ice cream pass. The runner up will also have their poem published and receive a prize pack that includes an ice cream pass. Poems should be 20 lines or less, based on the theme of Fall, and follow the Middle School writing guidelines. Please include a cover sheet with your name, homeroom class, and title of your Fall poem, before submitting your entry to the front office. Deadline for entries is Friday October 26th, 2018. FROM THE THEATRE DEPARTMENT: Auditions for this year’s musical will take place on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 29! A sign-up sheet with timeslots beginning at 3:30pm will be placed on the (NEW) DRAMA BULLETIN BOARD located at the end of the main hallway. Students will need to memorize a one-minute (or less) monologue, as well as a song from a musical. (Please bring sheet music, as live piano accompaniment will be provided.) PARENTS SHOULD ACCOMPANY THEIR CHILD in order to fill out the required paperwork. Audition packets with additional audition tips, as well as example monologues are available in the school office. PLEASE NOTE: Callbacks will be held the following day, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 30 from 3:30-6:30pm. ALL students who audition will need to attend at least from 3:30-5pm for a dance and music audition. Select students will be asked to stay for the remainder of the time from 5-6:30pm. (A list of the select students for callbacks will be emailed out following auditions.) Boosterthon kick off is next week! Fun Run/Color Run pledging is officially open!! Please help us reach our Fundraising Goal of $30,000 to help with the bathroom remodeling and new water fountains. By following the steps below you can register your student to get their pledging site up and running:
1. Register your student(s) on FUNRUN.COM starting today by searching our school or using our school code: 417-758 (Pre-K through 5th) OR 759-871 for (6th-8th).
2. Reach out to sponsors by sharing your pledge link.
3. Cheer on your student at the Fun Run and Color Run on Thursday, October 18th!
The Third Annual Trunk or Treat & Chili Cook-Off is scheduled for Friday October 26th from 5:30-7:30 pm. More details will follow to include a sign-up genius link so be on the lookout for a flyer going home with your student! Last year was a lot of fun for all those that joined us so please plan to come out again this year!
