The Virginia Purple Star Designation is awarded to military-friendly schools that have demonstrated a major commitment to students and families connected to our nation’s military. St. Matthew’s School is very proud to be recognized as a Virginia Distinguished Purple Star School.  We have an exceptionally strong connection with our armed forces. A large portion of our student population is from military families.
